Chainlink Integration Expand to World Chain
With this integration, developers and users on World Chain can now construct secure, interoperable applications while gaining access to over 20 different blockchains. This initiative broadens the possibilities for seamless cross-chain interactions, fostering innovation across decentralized networks.
Chainlink, a leader in onchain finance and trusted data services, has powered over $18 trillion in transaction value. By incorporating CCIP, World Chain gains access to features such as advanced multilayered security, secure token transfers, customizable messaging capabilities, and programmable token transactions. These tools empower developers to create applications that facilitate token exchanges, send data, and execute cross-chain operations—all with unprecedented efficiency.
A particularly notable feature of CCIP is its cross-chain token (CCT) functionality, enabling effortless integration of both new and existing tokens. Beyond this, CCIP supports arbitrary data transfers, opening the door for the development of native cross-chain applications. By integrating programmable logic with value transfers, the protocol introduces greater automation and functionality.
This announcement follows World Chain’s mainnet launch in fall 2024. Built to prioritize human-centric interactions verified via its World ID system, the blockchain has amassed over 10 million verified users and 22 million app users. Its high UOPS/TPS ratio highlights an ecosystem driven by genuine human activity rather than automated interactions.
World Chain collaborates with Optimism and Ethereum as part of the Superchain initiative, focusing on fostering blockchain environments that resist bot-driven manipulation while emphasizing human-first interactions.
