The Winklevoss twins, Tyler and Cameron, founders of Gemini and Winklevoss Capital, have donated $1 million to support the campaign of pro- crypto candidate John Deaton in the state of Massachusetts. Both stated that their goal with this donation is to help Deaton beat Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has an anti- crypto stance. On X, Tyler explained that Warren had become public enemy number one for crypto and one of the greatest threats to American prosperity. He stressed that he believed Deaton was the “only candidate who can defeat Elizabeth Warren in the race,” calling him a hero.
