Studio369 has announced the third Closed Beta (CB3) period for its PvP mech shooter, Metalcore, set to commence on June 27th. This latest beta phase will introduce several new features, including session-based PvP scenarios, a faction war-centric PvE mission, and faction-based social hubs. The update also includes an enhanced in-game economy, allowing players to purchase digital collectibles and SHARDS, an offchain currency, through the Metalcore store. The CB3 follows the success of Closed Beta 2.5, which saw significant player engagement. The latest update aims to further immerse players in the ongoing faction wars on Kerberos, offering a rich backstory and unique experiences each session. Players can obtain access to CB3 through the Epic Games Store key or by purchasing a Founders Pack.
