Participants will work to identify and harmonize tech governance strategies to ensure AI is adopted safely and benefits everyone. This conference is a significant step in U.S.-Nigeria relations, following previous high-level meetings. The United States has previously urged African countries to collaborate on the responsible use of AI in military applications.
