Crypto Week will feature a marathon review of three key pieces of crypto legislation, namely, the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act, the CLARITY Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act. The Genius Act seeks to establish a federal framework for stablecoins. The Clarity Acts will determine which regulators, if any, have jurisdiction over specific digital assets. The Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act will prevent the U.S. Federal Reserve from creating a central bank digital currency (CBDC). “We are taking historic steps to ensure the United States remains the world’s leader in innovation and I look forward to ‘Crypto Week’ in the House,” Hill said.
