Spot Bitcoin ETFs See Fifth Day of Inflows, Ether ETFs Hit by $17M Outflows
Collectively, the 12 spot bitcoin ETFs saw positive returns, while the nine ethereum ETFs ended the day in the red. The $39.42 million boost brought the total net inflows for bitcoin ETFs since Jan. 11 to a hefty $17.56 billion. Leading the pack was Grayscale’s Mini Bitcoin Trust, which pulled in $14.2 million, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $10.69 million.
Bitwise’s BITB added $10 million, and Blackrock’s IBIT secured $8.35 million. Franklin Templeton’s EZBC contributed $3.55 million, and Invesco and Galaxy’s fund BTCO brought in $2.46 million. Grayscale’s GBTC, however, was the only fund to see outflows, losing about $9.82 million. ARKB, HODL, BRRR, BTCW, and DEFI all had a flat day with no changes in gains or losses.
Overall, Wednesday’s trading recorded $1.42 billion in volume, with the 12 funds now collectively holding $55.96 billion in BTC. In contrast, ethereum ETFs saw $17.97 million in outflows, driven primarily by Grayscale’s ETHE, which shed $31.14 million. Other funds like ETHA, ETHW, ETHV, QETH, and CETH remained steady with no changes. The top performer was Fidelity’s FETH, which absorbed $7.93 million, followed by Grayscale’s Mini Ethereum Trust, which gained $4.24 million.
Franklin Templeton’s EZET also saw an inflow of about $1 million. The day’s trade volume for ether ETFs was approximately $201.03 million. The $17.97 million in outflows since July 23 brings the total net outflows to $458.08 million. According to sosovalue.xyz stats, the nine ETFs now hold $7.38 billion, representing 2.33% of ETH’s total market cap.
