Up Network has unveiled ‘Up Mobile,’ a smartphone that integrates artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. The device is built on Facebook’s Move programming language and aims to enhance user security and privacy. The blockchain technology is provided by Movement Labs, and the device includes EVM and Movevm. Co-Founder Roy Liu, known for integrating TRON into Samsung’s mobile phones, leads the project. The smartphone uses ‘zero-knowledge proof’ technology for identity verification without revealing biometric data. Up Network has received over 10,000 requests for the device and aims to distribute 100,000 units by the end of 2024. The device is part of an effort to enable Web3 on mobile devices.
