Tron’s Meme Coin Generator Sets New Benchmarks
To many observers, the year 2024 has undeniably been the year of meme coins. Since Pump Fun made its debut on Solana in January, it has empowered users to craft and launch their own meme coins effortlessly, with no technical expertise required. Pump Fun operates on a bonding curve pricing model, dynamically adjusting token prices based on supply and demand. The platform quickly caught the attention of the crypto community, and Dune Analytics reports that it has generated 1,854,871 tokens to date.
In addition, Pump Fun has raked in $92.83 million in fees. Initially, it supported only Solana but has since expanded to include Base and Blast. Meanwhile, a Tron version of Pump Fun, affectionately dubbed Sun Pump, is currently experiencing substantial interest, with 29,328 tokens minted on the Tron meme coin generator since Aug. 9. On Wednesday, Sun Pump outpaced Pump Fun, minting 7,531 tokens compared to Pump Fun’s 6,701.
Sun Pump also pulled in more revenue, amassing $585K, surpassing Pump Fun’s $366K on Aug. 21. Of the tokens created on Sun Pump, 589 are currently being traded on Sunswap. Since its launch, this Tron-powered meme coin generator has accumulated $1.789 million in total revenue. Wednesday marked the platform’s highest revenue day to date. By 4:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, another 4,274 tokens had been minted, bringing in $247K in revenue.
