Tokenization Meets AI: Securitize Expands RWA Access Through MCP Server

MCP Server by Securitize Brings Tokenized Asset Data to Developers

Securitize, the world’s largest real-world asset ( RWA) tokenization platform by value locked, has launched the Securitize MCP Server—a lightweight integration layer that simplifies how applications and artificial intelligence (AI) assistants access blockchain-based asset data. The launch comes as demand grows for reliable and real-time data tied to tokenized treasuries, private credit, and equities.

Interestingly, on the same day, Coinbase released Payments MCP. Securitize stated that it’s design is built on the open-source Model Context Protocol, the MCP Server enables seamless data exchange between applications and the Securitize platform. The interface standardizes how developers interact with tokenized asset data, removing the need to manually manage raw endpoints or complex API calls.

The server provides several built-in tools, including functions to list tokenized assets, search by symbol or description, and retrieve blockchain-level details such as supply, distribution, and token metadata. The company said that all outputs are formatted in JSON, allowing easy integration with existing enterprise systems or AI-driven workflows.

Through the MCP Server, developers can connect tools like Claude by Anthropic directly to Securitize’s datasets. The release does not mention any other AI models to connect with in the announcement. Once configured, Securitize explains that AI assistants can query real-time token data, bridge details, or chain IDs without direct API programming—broadening accessibility for financial and analytics platforms.

Securitize’s new infrastructure aims to enhance interoperability across tokenized finance, supporting assets such as Blackrock’s BUIDL and Apollo’s ACRED, both issued via its platform. The company’s release added that the firm continues to position itself as the key provider of compliant and standardized RWA data, reflecting the growing institutional interest in blockchain-based asset issuance.
