Saylor’s team isn’t slowing down—the company just grabbed more bitcoin ( BTC), pushing its total closer to the 600,000 mark, now sitting at 597,325 BTC. The latest haul cost $531.9 million, with each coin priced at $106,801, according to Saylor. Altogether, the 597,325 BTC were bought for $42.40 billion, averaging out to $70,982 per coin. This came shortly after Metaplanet upped its stash by 1,005 BTC earlier that morning. Strategy—formerly known as Microstrategy—has now made 54 bitcoin buys since kicking off its accumulation back in August 2020.
