‘I Receive so Many Lame Excuses’
The author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki, has expressed his frustration over the excuses he hears when encouraging people to buy bitcoin. He stressed that although the current BTC price is high, it is not as high as it will be in the future. Rich Dad Poor Dad is a 1997 book co-authored by Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years. More than 32 million copies of the book have been sold in over 51 languages across more than 109 countries.
Kiyosaki wrote on social media platform X on Friday:
I become frustrated encouraging people to buy bitcoin. I receive so many lame excuses … the most common excuse … ‘ bitcoin is too expensive.’ And it is high … yet not as high as it’s going to go.
The famous author has long been advising people to buy bitcoin alongside gold and silver, viewing gold and silver as “God’s money” and bitcoin as “people’s money.”
“I simply repeat my rich dad’s lesson on investing…. ‘Your profit is made when you buy…. Not when you sell,'” he further shared on Friday, emphasizing:
We all wish we had bought bitcoin when it was $10 … but those days are long gone. Don’t be a loser, buy a little, what you can afford and keep buying.
This week, Kiyosaki stated that bitcoin is the easiest way to become a millionaire. “I save bitcoin because bitcoin does the hard work for me,” he noted. The renowned author recently predicted that BTC would reach $350,000 in August. “It’s a prediction. It’s speculation. It’s an opinion, but it’s not a lie. It’s suckers bait, but it’s not a lie because any prediction about the future is not a lie. I want $350,000 bitcoin to be a fact, and I want it to be true … but it is only a prediction,” he explained. In May, he advised investors to buy BTC before its price explodes. He believes the U.S. economy is in a depression and that a severe market crash has begun.
