Additionally, the company is offering a $0.35 per share loyalty payment in ETH to shareholders who transfer their shares to book entry with the transfer agent and hold them through January 26, 2026. Together, these payments total $0.40 per share in ETH for eligible shareholders. This initiative aims to reward long-term investors and mitigate the impact of short-selling by encouraging shareholders to maintain their shares with the transfer agent. BTCS is making history as the first publicly traded company to issue a dividend in ethereum. The company describes its core strategy as the “DeFi/TradFi Accretion Flywheel,” focusing on accumulating ETH through mixed financing methods and generating revenue via staking and block building.
