Juan Carlos Reyes, president of the Digital Assets National Commission in El Salvador, recently highlighted the work behind the scenes to incentivize and prepare the nation for higher cryptocurrency adoption levels. During an interview, Reyes declared: “If you look at the bigger picture… you only see glimpses.” Reyes stated that even foreign companies that are regulated there cannot comprehend “how advanced we are and how fast things advance in this industry.” “Most won’t understand what we’re doing,” he concluded. El Salvador has one of the most comprehensive digital assets regulatory frameworks, including tokenizing real-world assets, debt, and even USDT-like stablecoins.
