At 12:19 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, the odds peaked at 61%, before settling at 59% by 12:45 p.m. Recently, former President Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate, told Fox News host Sean Hannity that Biden might continue his campaign against him. Donald Trump commented that while it may not be the best decision for the country, Biden could still choose to proceed.
“It looks to me like he may very well stay in,” Trump explained during his phone conversation. “He’s got an ego and he doesn’t want to quit. This isn’t necessarily a very positive thing for our country, but I think he might very well stay in.”
