Particle Network Releases Modular Layer 1 for Chain Abstraction and Universal Accounts

A Cohesive Solution for Both Developers and Users

The provider of account and wallet abstraction solutions, Particle Network, has introduced its modular Layer 1 (L1) for chain abstraction and universal accounts. The modular L1 aims to simplify user interactions across multiple blockchains. It will also enable them to manage their identities and assets across various chains with a single account.

According to a statement, Particle Network’s solution will enable universal accounts, universal liquidity, and a universal gas token. The design of the solution makes it an ideal tool for new and existing ecosystems to leverage. Furthermore, the L1 will provide a “cohesive solution” for both users and developers, the statement added.

In addition to being equipped with features that help set a new benchmark for blockchain connectivity, Particle Network’s Layer-1 also introduces a system for aggregating data availability providers.

“Particle’s L1 also introduces a novel system aggregating Data Availability providers such as Avail, Eigen DA, Celestia, and NEAR DA. This allows it to retain high decentralization, scalability, and performance. All these features not only simplify the experience of end users but also allow developers to take their dapps [ decentralized applications] to a broader audience, unconstrained by multi-chain fragmentation,” the wallet abstraction solutions provider said in the statement.

Meanwhile, the statement highlights Particle Network’s 17 million users, including 4 million daily active users plus the total value locked (TVL) of $2 billion. These factors are likely to contribute to the success of the L1 solution. In addition to unveiling this solution, Particle Network is set to launch its Testnet and V1 Mainnet also in the first quarter of 2024. Dual staking and an abstracted DA testnet are slated for introduction in the second quarter of 2024.
