Nubank Lowers Cryptocurrency Trading Fees

This article was published more than a year ago. Some information may no longer be current.

Nubank, the Latam-focused fintech company, recently lowered its cryptocurrency trading fees from 0.8% to 0.6% for each transaction completed. The platform allows for purchasing and selling 15 different cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin ( BTC), ether ( ETH), solana ( SOL), and the USDC stablecoin, among others. Nubank has been lowering its trading rates since last year when it charged 1.6% for each transaction. The organization disclosed that it charges users differently according to the volume traded over a determined period, but that the 0.6% fee was available for most customers. The measure comes after Nubank ended trading for its nucoin token last month, repurposing it for an in-house rewards system.
