Nasdaq-Listed Firm Pivots to DAT Strategy With TON Focus; Scaramucci Joins as Advisor

Anthony Scaramucci to Advise AlphaTON’s Toncoin Treasury Initiative
The company stated on Wednesday that it will raise about $38.2 million through a private placement of 6.7 million shares priced at $5.73 each. Additionally, AlphaTON secured a $35 million loan facility from Bitgo Prime. The combined funds will be used to purchase toncoin (TON) tokens and launch DAT operations.
AlphaTON’s private placement is expected to close on or around Sept. 5, 2025. Chardan acted as the placement agent, with legal counsel provided by Hogan Lovells US LLP and others. The newly changed firm also announced a corporate rebranding and will begin trading under the new ticker symbol “ATON” on the Nasdaq exchange starting Sept. 4, 2025.
Brittany Kaiser, former Cambridge Analytica executive and data rights advocate, has been appointed CEO and board member. Anthony Scaramucci, founder of Skybridge, will advise the treasury initiative, AlphaTON disclosed. Scaramucci is a digital asset and blockchain proponent and has continued to deepen his involvement and advocacy in the crypto space since 2021.
The rebranded company aims to leverage Telegram’s user base of over one billion monthly active users and support TON-based decentralized applications, including decentralized finance ( DeFi) protocols and gaming platforms. AlphaTON’s strategy includes staking, network validation, and ecosystem development to generate yield and strengthen network participation.
Enzo Villani, incoming executive chairman and chief investment officer, stated the move bridges traditional finance (TradFi) with digital asset infrastructure. The company believes TON is positioned to become a top-ten blockchain by 2026. As of Sept. 3, 2025, TON’s market cap stands in the 22nd position. Alongside Bitgo, AlphaTON said has partnerships with firms like Animoca Brands, Kraken, and DWF Labs.
