Argentine President Javier Milei met the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Head Elon Musk as part of his travel to the U.S. to be part of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where he also met President Donald Trump. Milei gave Musk a chainsaw, a symbol of the libertarian state reduction measures that both he and Musk are applying in Argentina and the U.S. After receiving the chainsaw, which is a replica of the one Milei has in his office, Musk posed with it in front of the CPAC crowd. “This is the chainsaw from bureaucracy. Chainsaw!” Musk said while he wielded it upwards with Milei in the background.
