Metaplanet Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3350 / OTCQX: MTPLF), a publicly listed bitcoin treasury company based in Japan, has announced the acquisition of an additional 1,088 BTC as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Operations. The latest purchase was made at an average price of 15,519,019 yen per bitcoin, totaling approximately 16.885 billion yen. With this acquisition, Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 8,888 BTC, with an average purchase price of 13,756,658 yen per bitcoin, amounting to a cumulative investment of 122.269 billion yen. The company reported a BTC Yield of 66.3% for the quarter to date, following previous yields of 41.7%, 309.8%, and 95.6% in the preceding quarters.
