Kyrgyzstan Partners With Binance to Advance Digital Asset Sector and Enhance Financial Literacy

Binance has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Agency for Investments under the President of Kyrgyzstan to foster collaboration in advancing the digital-asset sector in the country. The signing took place during the inaugural meeting of the Council for the Development of Digital Assets, attended by President Sadyr Japarov. The MoU aims to introduce crypto payments in Kyrgyzstan through Binance Pay, enhancing cross-border payment solutions across Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union. Additionally, Binance Academy will assist in developing educational programs to improve financial literacy among Kyrgyz citizens and support domestic Web3 projects. Farhat Iminov, Head of the National Agency for Investments, emphasized the partnership’s role in fostering innovation and economic growth, while Kyrylo Khomiakov, Regional Head of Binance, expressed excitement about leveraging blockchain technology to create sustainable economic opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.
