Kraken‑Backed Tokenized Stocks Surpasses $25 Billion in Volume

The Kraken-backed xStocks ecosystem reached a milestone $25 billion in total transaction volume on February 19, 2026, marking a shift in the adoption of tokenized U.S. equities. The platform currently supports over 80,000 unique onchain holders across the Solana, Ethereum, and TON networks. Each asset is backed 1:1 by underlying stocks or ETFs held in a bankruptcy-remote custodial structure.
The framework has secured 68% of the market share among the top 25 tokenized stocks by unique holders as of February 17, 2026. This growth is supported by the xStocks Alliance, a group of integrated partners including Bybit and Gate.io, which facilitates $3.5 billion in specifically onchain activity. Total assets under management for the ecosystem have now reached nearly $225 million.
“Eclipsing the $25 billion milestone so quickly demonstrates that investors around the world are ready for markets that are open, permissionless, and built for the internet age,” says Val Gui, General Manager for xStocks.
