Hypernative Garners $16M Funding to Fortify Web3 Security With AI Solutions
In a blog post, Hypernative revealed that the Series A round, which also attracted investments from Bloccelerate VC, Boldstart Ventures, Borderless Capital, and CMT Digital, has brought the company’s total funding to $27 million. Since launching its real-time monitoring platform in Sept. 2022, Hypernative has been on a mission to establish itself as a leading force in Web3 security.
The platform is built to detect and counter threats instantly, safeguarding over 100 Web3 projects, including high-profile names like Balancer, Chainlink, and Uniswap. “To make Web3 hacks a thing of the past, we need to combine smart contract audits and bug bounties with an active security component,” Hypernative CEO and co-founder Gal Sagie said on Tuesday.
Sagie added:
We already have some of the biggest and most influential projects leading the way by choosing Hypernative.
The fresh influx of capital will enable Hypernative to broaden its security solutions, tap into new industries, and strengthen its global footprint. The company announced its intention to keep refining its threat detection features, which reportedly caught 99.5% of attacks over the past year with minimal false alarms. Hypernative said it aims to raise the bar for security in the Web3 arena, addressing the increasing demand for strong protective measures as blockchain technology continues to advance.
