Hamster Kombat is setting the stage for the upcoming launch of its token. The anonymous team behind Hamster Kombat, a popular tap-to-earn game that puts the user in the role of a hamster, has announced that, as predicted in its recently released whitepaper, they will develop an ecosystem of games with its token at its core.
The game, which has already reached over 239 million monthly users aided by its Telegram distribution, will combine Web2 and Web3 games to support and extend the utility of its HMSTR token.
On social media, Hamster Kombat’s team declared:
We will be adding new games so that you have a variety of choices and can play the games you like the most. Some games will give you the keys, some will provide the internal currency, and these games will expand our ecosystem.
Furthermore, it hinted at possible partnerships with game developers to bring HMSTR to games outside their platform, stating that it would be “working together with the leading games and industry leaders” to build a “sustainable ecosystem with firm token demand.”
