The collaboration will fund advanced farming infrastructure, processing, logistics and irrigation upgrades—including expansion of almond orchards from 400 to up to 500 hectares and certified processing facilities—and develop HACCP‑certified, temperature‑controlled warehouses and pilot micro‑irrigation projects. Farmway said all operations will be recorded on blockchain to demonstrate tokenized real‑world asset ( RWA) financing for climate‑smart agriculture. The Georgian government pledged fast‑tracked approvals, transparent land tenders and a Joint Agri Taskforce to accelerate delivery. Officials highlighted expected benefits for export competitiveness, job creation, climate resilience and local education through Farmway’s scholarship programs, positioning the deal as a model for attracting international green capital to modernize agriculture.
