This article was published more than a year ago. Some information may no longer be current.

Tigran Gambaryan, a former U.S. federal agent and Binance executive, has now spent six months in Nigerian detention. Lawyers say he has been denied proper medical care, leading to severe health issues, including a herniated disc that has left him unable to walk. Additionally, his lawyers said that between July 26 and August 14, they were barred from visiting him, which hindered trial preparations and violated Nigerian law. The U.S. Embassy also cannot access him due to his inability to walk to the visitor area. The court has scheduled the next hearing for September 2. His wife, Yuki, has publicly pleaded for his release, citing his deteriorating health and the emotional toll on their family. She emphasizes the urgency of his need for medical treatment and appeals for his immediate release to prevent irreversible damage.
