The funding will scale Fnality’s regulated distributed‑ledger payment systems—built to bridge wholesale markets and tokenized assets—following the December 2023 launch of the Sterling Fnality Payment System. Fnality plans to expand to additional currencies, enhance liquidity‑management solutions, and enable settlement interoperability for stablecoins and tokenized deposits, offering real‑time DvP, on‑demand FX PvP and instant repo settlement. CEO Michelle Neal said the investment underscores industry conviction in a central‑bank‑anchored blockchain settlement layer that supports 24/7 real‑time settlement, improved capital efficiency and greater market resilience.
