Fireblocks Acquires Dynamic to Broaden Digital-Asset Infrastructure Stack

Fireblocks Acquisition of Dynamic Extends Reach Into Web3 Development

Dynamic builds tools that allow companies to integrate digital-asset features such as onboarding, authentication, and embedded wallets into their applications.

In the announcement shared with Bitcoin.com News, the firm stated that the deal extends Fireblocks’ infrastructure beyond institutional custody and treasury operations toward consumer-level functionality for fintechs and Web3-focused platforms.

The acquisition gives Fireblocks access to Dynamic’s embedded-wallet technology, which is used across multiple blockchain environments. The companies said the combined offering will provide a single stack connecting enterprise custody with end-user wallet interactions, designed to reduce friction for developers and financial platforms moving into onchain services.

Michael Shaulov, Fireblocks’ CEO, remarked on Thursday that the move combines “trusted infrastructure for institutions” with consumer-ready wallet capabilities. Dynamic CEO Itai Turbahn added that the platform’s role in simplifying integration mirrors earlier fintech enablers like Twilio and Plaid.

Dynamic’s technology currently supports firms such as Kraken’s Inky trading platform, Zerohash’s crypto-payment solutions, and Ondo Finance’s tokenized asset markets. Its 30-member team will join Fireblocks to assist with platform integration and continue servicing existing clients.

Fireblocks said combining institutional infrastructure with consumer-grade tools reflects increasing demand from fintechs and payment processors integrating stablecoins and blockchain rails amid a more favorable regulatory environment.

Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the transaction. Fireblocks previously acquired a smart contract development and consulting firm called Blockfold in late 2023.
