State Street Launches Three New Digital Asset ETFs

Asset management giant State Street Global Advisors announced on Tuesday the launch of three digital asset and disruptive technology ETFs managed by Galaxy Asset Management. The ETFs aim to provide exposure to blockchain and digital assets through active management.

The three funds are designed to capture market inefficiencies and evolving trends in the digital asset space. The SPDR Galaxy Digital Asset Ecosystem ETF focuses on companies benefiting from blockchain adoption. The SPDR Galaxy Hedged Digital Asset Ecosystem ETF aims to manage volatility through options strategies while focusing on similar exposures. The SPDR Galaxy Transformative Tech Accelerators ETF targets firms in blockchain and artificial intelligence.

Anna Paglia, State Street’s chief business officer, commented:

We believe the next evolution of this market is actively managed digital asset portfolios.

Galaxy Asset Management Head of Liquid Active Strategies, Chris Rhine, said:

With the rapid evolution of digital assets and blockchain technology, it’s crucial to have a dynamic approach to investing.

State Street and Galaxy aim to combine their expertise to help investors navigate the volatile but promising digital asset market.
