The post also revealed that the core technical team has been in detention since the first week of April. FIL tokens worth over $22 million were transferred to an unidentified external address during this period.
Users Question Incident Timing
In addition, the STFIL team also noted that there were unexpected and unscheduled upgrades to the protocol in recent days. The funds were transferred to the following address: f410falck3ysg7e2k4outtq2r24ytd66cuddydnoga6a.
Upon discovering this unauthorized transfer of FIL tokens, the STFIL team actively explores ways to trace the unknown address and safeguard stakeholder interests.
In response to the STFIL team’s request for help, some social media users offered assistance with police contacts but others questioned the timing of the incident. Some suggested that this could have been an inside job or a rug pull.
Another user suggested that unknown attackers may have taken control of the STFIL contract.
