Trading and investing platform Etoro announced that its EU subsidiary, Etoro (Europe) Ltd, has been granted a permit by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission (CySEC) to provide crypto services across the European Union under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Avi Sela, Chief Operating Officer – Regulation at Etoro, emphasized the importance of regulation in protecting consumers and fostering trust in the financial system. Etoro aims to enhance crypto adoption in Europe while ensuring users are aware of associated risks. The platform offers over 100 crypto assets alongside a diverse range of investment options. Etoro’s compliance with MiCA and MiFID regulations is expected to provide greater investor protection and transparency in the EU market.
