Throughout the hackathon and conference, there will be eight workshops to support the various bounties available, three speaker sessions where individual specialists will present their ideas, and four panels for more generalised conversations related to web3. This year, the conference and hackathon have drawn plenty of international interest, from companies such as a16z, Ripple, and SEEBLOCKs, as well as prominent web3 organisations and grant programs like API3, Aragon, SuperRare, Lido, Tally, and the Ethereum Foundation’s Ecosystem Support Program.

Ryan Kemp, Co-founder of ETH Ireland, commented, “ Web3 is an ownership-driven industry, requiring every type of skill set. This started as a focal point for Web3 enthusiasts in Ireland. This year we are still providing that locus with our eyes on bridging the public and private sectors onchain. ETHDublin is your way in.”

In the warm-up for ETHDublin, the ETH Ireland team has orchestrated two team formation events to brief hackers ahead of time, and with support from PizzaDAO, joined in on the global pizza party in commemoration of Bitcoin Pizza Day. The ETH Ireland team will also be present at Blockchain Ireland next week, featuring on a panel in Marharry Theatre, Trinity College, at 11:30 next Wednesday.

Ryan Kemp concludes by saying, “Don’t be intimidated by the word ‘hack’. As long as you can critically think, you have a place here. The hackathon is open to anyone with a laptop and a knack for problem-solving, while the conference element invites those with a lust for learning.”

Over recent months, the team at ETH Ireland has been busy building hyp for ETHDublin by forging international community partnerships with other Ethereum-focused events, namely ETHAmsterdam, ETHLondon and ETHBucharest. These relationships help boost global awareness of the budding Irish web3 industry.
