The event marks a collaboration between digital finance and global golf, with Nexo co-founders Antoni Trenchev and Kosta Kantchev in attendance, alongside Scottish First Minister John Swinney. During a lunch with President Trump, the co-founders discussed the future of sports and the growing influence of digital finance in the economy. The Nexo Championship is part of Nexo’s broader strategy to integrate sports and technology, as the company also partners with six prestigious events on the DP World Tour calendar. This new course and championship are expected to enhance Scotland’s golf tourism, which generates over $400 million annually. Back in April, Nexo announced its re-entry into the U.S. market at an exclusive business event featuring Donald Trump Jr.
