A poll conducted by research-driven technology investment firm Paradigm in June, published on Thursday, has revealed that Republicans strongly support financial freedom through cryptocurrency and oppose centralized control, such as central bank digital currencies ( CBDCs). Political candidates defending crypto, such as Sam Brown, Dave McCormick, and Bernie Moreno, enjoy significant GOP (Republican Party) support. Notably, 28% of Republicans own or have bought crypto, surpassing the national average. Younger and non-white Republicans are key demographics, with 41% of non-white and 45% of those under 40 owning crypto. Many hold substantial amounts, with 58% owning over $1,000.
