White House Crypto Summit: Crypto Giants Gather as US Crypto Reserve Fuels Speculation

Many in the cryptocurrency industry are eagerly anticipating the first-ever White House Crypto Summit, a historic event hosted by President Donald Trump on March 7. This gathering is expected to bring together some of the most influential figures in digital assets, highlighting the administration’s increasing engagement with the sector. As speculation mounts over the guest list, industry insiders and investors are closely monitoring updates, with expectations running high about potential policy discussions and new initiatives that could shape the future of crypto in the U.S.

White House AI and Crypto Czar David Sacks revealed the summit on Feb. 28 through social media platform X, generating excitement across the industry. He confirmed that the event will feature leading cryptocurrency founders, CEOs, and investors, writing, “Look forward to seeing everyone there!” Additionally, Sacks disclosed that a key discussion point will be the U.S. crypto reserve, a new initiative unveiled by President Trump on March 2. This initiative will not be limited to bitcoin but will also incorporate other major cryptocurrencies such as ethereum ( ETH), XRP, solana ( SOL), and cardano ( ADA).

Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett has confirmed a list of high-profile attendees, including A16z general partner Chris Dixon, MARA CEO Fred Thiel, Bitgo CEO Mike Belshe, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, former CFTC Chair Chris Giancarlo, Falconx CEO Raghu Yarlagadda, Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley, Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek, Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, Kraken CEO Arjun Sethi, Microstrategy founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov, Multicoin Capital managing partner Kyle Samani, World Liberty Financial co-founder Zach Witkoff, Exodus CEO JP Richardson, Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang, Wisdomtree CEO Jonathan Steinberg, and Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey. Others may attend, but she has not confirmed.

Members of the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets will also be in attendance, further emphasizing the significance of the summit. The event is expected to be a pivotal moment for the cryptocurrency industry in the U.S. as it may shape future regulatory and economic policies surrounding digital assets.

Speculation about attendees has circulated online, but many names remain unverified. Some prominent crypto figures have confirmed on social media that they received White House invitations. Michael Saylor, for example, stated on March 4: “I have been invited to the Digital Assets Summit at the White House this Friday, hosted by the President.” Former acting US Comptroller of the Currency Brian Brooks also said he will be attending the event.

Sacks warned that most of the invite lists shared on X are fake. However, he noted that Terrett’s list “looks correct (though not yet complete).” The White House crypto czar clarified:

The Digital Asset Summit is not a conference; it’s a roundtable. We appreciate all of the interest but need to keep it small to have a meaningful conversation.
