Justin Sun Tops Arkham’s KOL Crypto List—Who Else Made the Cut?
Arkham’s compilation reveals that KOLs collectively hold substantial cryptocurrency holdings, with Justin Sun leading the pack. The Tron founder, who boasts 3.7 million followers on X, appears on the list with three distinct wallets. The first of these accounts reflects Sun’s control over $590.32 million in digital assets, with $435 million allocated to tron ( TRX). Directly beneath Sun is Vitalik Buterin, whose holdings amount to $537 million, with $523 million denominated in ethereum ( ETH). Buterin commands an audience of 5.7 million followers on X.
Beneath his holdings, two additional accounts linked to Justin Sun emerge. One contains $473 million in crypto, while the other holds $44.20 million. Following these wallets is Hong Qi Yu, the founder and CEO of Tokenize Xchange, who has amassed 723,000 X followers. Hong oversees $28.31 million in digital assets. Next in line is Arthur Hayes, the founder of Bitmex, with a follower count of 637,000 on X.
As of March 8, 2025, Hayes’ wallet holds $18.32 million. Below his account sits Dingaling, ostensibly known as Dinghua Xiao, who has 235,000 followers. Dingaling’s holdings are valued at $12.33 million. Further down, two more wallets allegedly tied to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin appear. One, associated with the Ethereum Name Service domain vitalik.eth, contains $7.64 million in crypto, while the other holds $6.3 million.
Murad Mahmudov, recognized on social media as “Muststopmurad” and followed by 718,300 users on X, reportedly controls $5.27 million in crypto, as indicated by Arkham’s flagged entity list. Just beneath Mahmudov’s account is Tree of Alpha, known on X as @Tree_of_Alpha, who has 231,100 followers. Further down, Murad is linked to two more sizable accounts, containing $4.91 million and $4.29 million, respectively. Positioned just below these holdings is a wallet believed to belong to former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ).
CZ commands an impressive following of 9.9 million on X, and Arkham’s data indicates that his wallet holds $4 million in digital assets. Beyond these figures, Arkham’s list features a diverse array of key opinion leaders, including Donald Trump, Andre Cronje, Chris Cantino, Evan Van Ness, Dave Portnoy, Andrew Tate, and Justin Bieber.
