Crypto.com has announced a donation of $1 million to support the Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts. The donation is intended to help provide Los Angeles firefighters and first responders with the tools and equipment to ensure their safety and readiness for the current wildfire response and possible future disasters.
The donation will be distributed to the Los Angeles Police Foundation, California Fire Foundation, and Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
Matt David, Crypto.com’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer said, “We have an intimate connection to the City of Los Angeles through AEG and the Crypto.com Arena and our hearts are with all those impacted by the tragic wildfires. While there is a long road ahead, we are committed to working with our partners and the community to do whatever we can to support those in need.”
This donation builds on additional support from Crypto.com and its partners, including a donation drive at Los Angeles Lakers games, food donations at the Crypto.com arena, and a donation center for mobilizing and collecting critical supplies.
