Formula 1 and Crypto.com Solidify Long-Term Collaboration
Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency platform, which began its association with Formula 1 in 2021, highlighted this renewal as a commitment to fostering innovation and engagement in sports and technology. Since the partnership’s inception, Formula 1 has reported a cumulative global television audience of 1.5 billion viewers and significant growth across its fan base and social media platforms, now totaling 750 million fans and 96 million followers.
Simultaneously, Crypto.com said in its announcement that it too has experienced substantial expansion, growing its user base to over 100 million globally. The renewed agreement includes Crypto.com’s continued role as the official title partner of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, a position it has held since 2022.
Furthermore, the crypto company shared that it plans to leverage the partnership by offering exclusive fan experiences and activations at Grand Prix events, with its branding prominently displayed throughout the racing season. Steven Kalifowitz, chief marketing officer at Crypto.com, emphasized the partnership’s impact on the company’s visibility and growth, stating that Formula 1 has been instrumental in establishing Crypto.com as a global brand.
“Formula 1 was one of our first global sports partnerships and a key driver in elevating Crypto.com to the most recognized crypto brand in the world,” Kalifowitz remarked on Thursday.
Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer of Formula 1, echoed this sentiment, noting the evolving landscape of the sport and expressing excitement about extending the partnership. The announcement coincides with the release of Crypto.com’s 2025 product roadmap, which outlines the crypto firm’s plans for new services with the goal of establishing the platform as a leading destination for cryptocurrency and decentralized finance.
