Tokens for Team Members and Investors Locked

The Web3 advertising network, Everyworld, backed by Coinbase and the venture capital firm A16z, is set to begin the airdrop of its EVERY token to its community in the week of April 15th. According to the airdrop criteria, users can become eligible to participate by playing baby animal games and earning points. After completing quests, users will need to connect their wallets and submit their respective Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.

As stated in the Everyworld blog post, users who wish to participate in the airdrop must not be U.S. citizens or residents of 25 other countries, including Australia, China, and Russia. Only 3% of EVERY tokens are set to be airdropped, while the entire Everyworld team and investors’ share is locked until April 5, 2025. Potential sellers who have unlocked tokens include early contributors, market makers, and exchanges.

Rewarded Video Advertisements

Founded on the concept of rewarded video advertisements and leveraging the blockchain, the Web3 advertising network aims to reimagine the traditional advertisement model by allowing users to earn crypto for engaging with content. Julia Schwartz, the chief strategy officer, said her network aims to leverage this non-traditional model to make Everyworld one of the most impactful Web3 projects globally.

“Everyworld, a Web3 rewarded ads protocol, follows a similar model by rewarding users directly for engaging with content from advertisers. The average person watches nearly 42 days’ worth of ads each year and never earns anything for their attention. Yet the average social media/digital platform generates approximately 70-99% of its revenue from ads. New blockchain platforms like Everyworld are working directly to disrupt this imbalance between consumers and corporations,” Schwartz told Bitcoin.com News.

In a blog post, the Web3 network stated that the global advertising industry, dominated by the so-called “big boys” and gatekeepers, is yearning for the concept of rewarded videos. To support this claim, the post presents statistics demonstrating a trend among developers towards rewarded videos.
