Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp has announced that UK customers can now stake ethereum ( ETH) and cardano ( ADA) on its platform, currently offering an annual percentage yield ( APY) of 3.1% for ETH and 1% for ADA. The staking process is designed to be simple and secure, allowing users to earn rewards by delegating their crypto assets to a staking node operator that validates transactions on the Proof-of- Stake ( PoS) network. Users retain full ownership of their assets, with no imposed lock-up periods, although conditions may vary based on the PoS network. Bitstamp will charge a transparent commission of 15% on all rewards earned through staking.
