BitPay launches a Visa debit card reloadable with any bitcoin wallet

Have a bitcoin wallet and need to use your bitcoin at any brick and mortar retailer? No problem, as BitPay has just launched BitPay Visa, which is a Visa debit card that can be loaded and reloaded using any bitcoin wallet.

Incidentally, the Visa card can be loaded with direct deposit through your employer. You can also withdraw cash at any ATM.

BitPay is a payment processor and also the maker of the bitcoin wallet Copay. However, the card is available to anyone that owns bitcoin and wants to have a debit card to use their bitcoins as dollars. The card balance and account holder information is managed via the BitPay Visa user accounts page.
