Bitmine Crosses $13.4 Billion in Crypto and Cash Holdings

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR) has revealed a new purchase of 203,826 ETH over the past week. This latest buy pushes the company’s total crypto and cash holdings to $13.4 billion, underscoring its aggressive push toward becoming the dominant institutional ether treasury.

As of Oct. 19, BitMine holds 3.24 million ETH valued at roughly $13 billion. In addition, it holds 192 BTC, $219 million in unencumbered cash, and $119 million in equity from its investment in Eightco Holdings. The company’s ETH stash now represents 2.7% of the total ETH supply, halfway toward its goal of owning 5% of all ETH supply.

“Bitmine continues to attract institutional investor capital as our high liquidity is appealing. The crypto market saw one of its largest deleveraging events ever last week, and this put downward pressure on ETH prices. We acquired 203,826 ETH tokens over the past week, pushing our ETH holdings to 3.24 million,” said Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of Bitmine.

The company’s investor base reads like a who’s who of crypto and finance, including ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera, Galaxy Digital, Kraken, and DCG, all backing BitMine’s long-term ETH accumulation strategy.
