Bitcoin Core version 30.0 has been released and brings new features, bug fixes, performance improvements, and updated translations.

Notable changes include a 2,500-limit on potentially executed legacy signature operations per standard transaction, increased default datacarriersize with support for multiple OP_RETURN outputs, lower default relay and incremental feerates (0.1 sat/vB), improved mempool and 1p1c package relay behavior, a new top-level bitcoin command with an experimental IPC mining interface, coinstatsindex rework, logging rate limits, several RPC updates and deprecations (including deprecating -paytxfee/settxfee), migration away from BDB legacy wallets to descriptor wallets, GUI migration to Qt6 (Windows dark mode, macOS Metal), and various install/build tweaks.
