Bitcoin.com Rebrands to Reaffirm Commitment to Bitcoin, Self-Custody, and Financial Sovereignty

May 15, 2025 — Bitcoin.com today unveiled a new brand identity centered around the Bitcoin symbol and the Bitcoin.com name, marking a renewed commitment to Bitcoin and the principles that inspired the cryptocurrency revolution.

The updated branding places the iconic Bitcoin symbol at the heart of the company’s identity, reflecting Bitcoin.com’s belief that Bitcoin remains the world’s most important cryptocurrency and the foundation of a more open, accessible, and user-controlled financial future.

The rebrand comes as Bitcoin enters a new phase of global adoption. From nation-state reserves and institutional investment to everyday payments and self-custody, Bitcoin is increasingly moving from the margins to the mainstream.

For Bitcoin.com, the shift represents a return to first principles.

The new identity features a modernized Bitcoin symbol paired directly with the Bitcoin.com wordmark, creating a simpler and more recognizable brand system across the company’s products, content, and communications.

The refreshed branding will be rolled out across Bitcoin.com’s suite of offerings, including the Bitcoin.com Wallet, Bitcoin.com News, educational resources, and future products and services.

While the visual identity has evolved, the company’s mission remains unchanged: helping people around the world access the tools, knowledge, and technologies that enable greater ownership, independence, and participation in the global economy.

Since launching in 2015, Bitcoin.com has helped millions of people buy, use, learn about, and securely hold cryptocurrency through its self-custodial wallet, news platform, educational content, and ecosystem of products.
