The fund, approved by Poland’s KNF in June, uses FX‑hedging forward contracts to reduce investors’ sensitivity to USD/PLN swings and is supported by market maker Dom Maklerski Banku Ochrony Środowiska S.A. GPW officials framed the listing as a response to investor demand for diversified, regulated access to digital assets and noted the ETF allows participation in bitcoin markets without direct custody of the underlying asset. The addition brings GPW’s ETF count to 16, covering domestic and international equity indices, sector, leveraged and inverse funds, as ETF turnover on the exchange rose about 94% year‑to‑date.
