Binance Taps Apple Pay and Google Pay to Expand Fiat-to- Crypto Access

Binance is bringing crypto one step closer to the mainstream with the integration of Apple Pay and Google Pay, thanks to a new partnership with global payments provider Worldpay.

According to the official blog post, the move allows users to purchase digital assets directly using cards linked to these popular wallets, streamlining the onramp experience both on desktop and within the Binance app.

The update is part of Binance’s broader push to improve fiat accessibility. In 2024 alone, the exchange expanded support to over 125 currencies, added more than 1,000 payment methods, and launched services in 20+ new countries, including mobile money integrations in 9 African nations.

By enabling payments through digital wallets already used in daily life, Binance aims to lower barriers for new users, especially in regions where banking infrastructure is limited but mobile adoption is high.

Binance VP of Fiat, Thomas Gregory, highlighted Worldpay’s global payment leadership as key to the partnership. Together, the companies are working to make crypto more accessible, intuitive, and inclusive, helping onboard the next wave of Web3 users through tools they already know and trust.
