Vitalik Marinchenko

Vitalik Marinchenko is a blockchain engineer and DeFi builder with over 15 years of development experience. Originally from Latvia, he studied programming at the University of Latvia and began his career in software engineering at 77Agency and Accenture before fully pivoting into blockchain development. He first gained recognition in Web3 as a Solidity developer at Decentral Games, contributing to some of the earliest on-chain gaming and metaverse platforms. In 2020 he co-founded the Wise Token ecosystem and later became the driving force behind WiseOne (wise.one), a DeFi platform offering staking, lending, and advanced user tools. His work has consistently focused on building transparent, audited, and user-friendly systems in decentralized finance. Since 2021, Marinchenko has served as Technical DeFi Lead at Bitcoin.com, where he oversees the integration of decentralized finance into the company’s global wallet and ecosystem. His role has been central to expanding Bitcoin.com’s offerings beyond Bitcoin into Ethereum, and multi-chain DeFi, bringing advanced financial tools to millions of users worldwide. Marinchenko is also a well-known figure in the global hackathon circuit. Competing regularly at ETHGlobal events, he has led teams to finalist positions at Bangkok 2024, Taipei 2025, Unite 2025, and Cannes 2025. His projects often combine DeFi mechanics with cutting-edge themes such as AI, cryptography, and privacy, earning recognition from sponsors and judges alike. In addition to his professional work, Marinchenko contributes to the open-source community under the GitHub handle vm06007 and is active as a Solidity mentor. His combination of technical expertise, hands-on building, and community engagement has made him a respected voice in the DeFi and Web3 ecosystem.
