Anthropic, one of the largest artificial intelligence (AI) companies in the market, has released the latest iteration of its in-house large language model (LLM) Claude, identified as 3.5 Sonnet. Anthropic claims this new assistant competes with Openai’s GPT-4o, surpassing the latter in several benchmarks including Graduate Level Reasoning, Grade School Math, Multilingual Math, and Code. Also, Anthropic has launched a preview of Artifacts with this release, allowing users to iterate and generate different data types. In an example shown, Anthropic illustrates the use of Claude to create a complete playable side-scrolling game by using interconnected prompts.
